Shades is a CPU Mii that can be encountered in any of the Wii Sports games. His name comes from the fact that his face is nothing but a pair of, well, glasses.
He can be encountered after the player achieves Pro Class in any of the sports he appears in.
Wii Sports[]
In Wii Sports, Shades can be encountered when playing Tennis, Baseball, or Boxing, and has a skill level of 2100 in all 3 of those sports.
Wii Sports Resort[]
Shades is pretty good in Swordplay, having a skill level of 2428. He can also be encountered randomly in any Plus or Reverse stage as a generic Red enemy.
In Basketball, his level is 3073 and plays with Octavian and Lenny 2.
In Cycling, he is pretty bad, usually ranking in last place in any race he's in.
In Table Tennis, he has a skill level of 2593, and plays with a hotel slipper. He also shares Lucia's perk of having faster movement speed.
Wii Sports Club[]
In Wii Sports Club, Shades shows up when you reach level 5 in Baseball, Boxing, or Tennis. In Tennis, he always plays with Lenny 2.
Trivia[]
- The reason Shades is so terrible at Cycling is because he cannot see where he is going due to having no eyes. He instead knows where everything is by sound.
